“O” is a stool made of micro-crystalline wax with a little percentage of vaseline and dark blue pigments. The challenge of this product was to work on one material with one tool, which was a measuring tool (“Drus”, a circular wooden plate). The stool was made in a foundry where 18kg of wax were liquefied and poured into a cylindrical mould. It was interesting to experience how a little circular wooden plate could be usedas a tool to curve into this massif blue monolith. However the tool could change the shape of the big blue cylinder by reporting the radius on the surface, the tool had also an impact on the rendering, unveiling different textures and contrast of blue.
